Dudley and Smith is excited to welcome Justin Alderman to our team as our newest attorney.  Justin is an Illinois native who has called Minnesota his home for the past 8 years since he attended the University of Minnesota Law School. Prior to making the Land of 10,000 Lakes his home, he received his Bachelor’s in Pre-Law from Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Justin comes to us with a varied background of experience including estate planning, child advocacy, tax law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), bankruptcy, probate court, landlord-tenant disputes, criminal law, and consumer protection.  He even spent three years serving as the assistant city prosecutor for eight Minnesota cities while also serving as criminal defense in other jurisdictions. However, he has found his passion in family law and has represented clients in paternity, dissolution, child support, and domestic violence matters since becoming an attorney.  Since becoming licensed as an attorney, Justin has always practiced in the area of family law, and has practiced solely in this area for the past three years.

Justin will primarily represent family law clients at Dudley and Smith.  He has already proven to be a valuable asset to our team and we believe his skills and knowledge will allow us to continue to provide specialized services in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.
